The Hydro-Boost® Brake Booster uses hydraulic pressure from the power steering pump (typically 1,000+ PSI) rather than engine vacuum (approximately 15 PSI). This provides stronger, more consistent braking assist — especially in heavy-duty, diesel, towing, or performance applications.
